Compassionate Care Primary Service was started as a concierge & mobile healthcare business in 2021. The company was started by a nurse practitioner who saw the effects of delayed medical treatment and lack of healthcare education within the community while providing care to critically ill patients within the Intensive Care Unit.
The owner, Dironada Strange, has more than 15 years of acute care nursing experience. She began her nursing career as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and worked at a rural long-term care facility until she departed for college. She obtained her Licensed Practical Nurse certification in 2004 and an Associate of Science in Nursing (A.S.N.) degree in 2006 from Santa Fe College. She returned to further her education, ultimately receiving a Bachelors in Nursing (B.S.N.) degree in 2012 from the University of Central Florida and a Masters in Nursing (M.S.N.) as an Adult Gerontology-Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AG-ACNP) in 2016 from the University of South Alabama. In May 2022, I returned to school and obtained a post graduate certification in Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) in addition to an Advance Forensic Nursing certificate. My nurse career became full circle with the completion of Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in December 2023. In addition to my education, I have years of hands-on experience, skill set, and compassion for patients that have led to a rewarding nursing career where I am able to nurture, educate, and treat those who endure the greatest need as a result of lack of access, transportation, community resources, and healthcare coverage.
